Can fuel cut result in blown seal?
Just wondering... Running the car to lean can cause uncontrolled ignition on hotspots. So fuel cut closes the fuel delivery and this can be interpreted as extremely lean situation. Am I wrong and why?
One more question... Supposedly one injector fails - will these result in the same effect as fuel cut on one rotor(valve)? Suppose not, since we have two injectors for one rotor, right?

Fuel cut shouldn't result in a blown seal. Detonation requires ignition, or an explosion. Without fuel, the air will not ignite, even when the spark plug fires. Fuel cut is built into the system as a safety feature. When boost is too high, the fuel system can't deliver enough fuel, so rather than deliver too little fuel and risk detonation, it cuts all fuel so there is no ignition.
