Why would anyone answer if this has been asked millions of times already?

Please use the search function.

god save me....when i was a newbie and i asked the same stupid question....theres a lil button in the top right hind side of your screen that says SEARCH.....it is used commonly on the forum.. For example type in the search bar "mod list" or "beating+evo" if you are really that curious.

Have Fun!!!!!!!!

It's not hard to beat either one with a decent stock 3rd gen with a good motor.

I'm going to help try to spare you some hurt feelings.......

You will get NO sympathy here from anyone if all you think a FD is good for is drag racing.
While it is true that the cars are quick, there are a LOT of new cars that are as quick or quicker in a straight line drag race. The inherent lack of torque from our engines is pretty much a killer, unless you have gone and modded to the point where you are cranking out a good 70 - 100 hp over stock output.
The FD's main strength is its nimbleness which gives it good acceleration and phenomenal handling and braking.
If you want a drag car, go buy a '70 Chevelle with a big block V8 and have a blast. If you want a car that has timeless styling and incredible track performance where cornering and braking are a big part of fast lap times, then the FD is for you.

the evo hell no and even from a roll, is the srt-4 stock? i raced one at the track running 19lbs of boost and he beat me by .3 seconds but my car was bonestock. also, i have low miles on my car (24k) so my engine is plenty strong. i had a bad run at 14.2 though, if i would have ran him my second pass i would have gotten him with a 13.8

1.Take off the stock air box and leave the hoses intact....no filter
2. unbolt the mid-pipe and remove
3. PRAY

....this should do it....for free..

you could also remove the interior, spare tire, catback section....etc....save some weight....

Or you could also remove the driver..... He's a self proclaimed Newb, and he's worrying about beating Evo's and Srt-4's, so he's fairly young (beacause he's not really worried about supra's porche's and high horsepower BM's or Audi's), which means not very experianced, which also means he's going to grind 2nd gear and miss 3rd entirely, so he's going to lose regardless....

I know that with a catback you will walk BOTH cars from a roll if they're stock. I did it on several occasions before I got my K&N drop in and hks downpipe. My car had over 110,000 miles on the original engine for each of the races BTW.
