HKS twin power in my experience reduces the life of your plugs and requires more frequent changes. That's not a big deal really. It comes with the territory when you modify a car. I also run the OEM platinum 9 heat range plugs (BUR9EQP). I don't like race plugs. They are expensive and hurt idle quality.

9 is actually a VERY cold plug when you put it in a broader perspective. there are plenty of turbo piston engines with exhaust temperatures close to a rotary that run 7's. Factory plugs on most turbo piston engines is a 6, and 5 for a non turbo.
So would you say change the plugs once a year if you have the TP?

I do that anyway but lately i been putting on more miles on the car each year. Like 5k.

You can reuse the heat range 9 plugs as long as the electrode has not worn away, making the gap too large for a proper spark causing break up at high rpm and crappy idle. Look at new and old worn plugs side by side and you can see the difference in the electrode.

I personally clean my plugs until the the above mentioned occurs. Then I replace with new.

Life span of the plugs depends on driving style. If you do alot of high rpm high boost driving your plugs will wear faster. I believe the twin power is just a multi spark and doesn't incress voltage. I would think that would cause more wear than less sparks per rpm, don't you think...
