Cables from center console to trunk?

Hi,

i installed a new switch for the rear fog light in the center console, but now having some trouble to get the cables to the taillights. Is there any trick to get this done without removing the rear seats and the whole carpet?

Use a large heavy duty plastic cable tie to slide under carpet, etc. to pull the wire through.
I have a 24" tie that I keep just for this purpose. The plastic doesn't scratch paint.

i already managed it. was kinda hard to get the rear seats out but until then it was easy. I used the same method as julian, works good .
Yes rear foglights are a must in germany, i'm going to use the outer breaklights for that.
