Question C-West headlights?

just got them today,and YES I tried searching does any one know where I can find the installation or if u have them, a write up of how u did it mainly the fog lights do u use the bracket from the fog lights or the one thats comes with the housing and on the main lights did u use the wiring it comes with or wired it from the stock wiring? any help would be appreciated.

I did not use the low beam bracket. Mounted the low beam with a single bolt and nut to the single hole bracket that is part of the fiberglass chassis (your last picture on the right). Since the single bolt would eventually allow the light to move, as I made my beam adjustment I glued a small piece of construction foam support under the low beam light body to prevent any tilting action.

As to wiring, my set came with a special harness, stobe lights and what not... I got rid of all that and simply spliced into the original headlight connectors and ran the two hot wires (4 for boths set of lights) from the high and low beams and hooked up the chassis ground. This way it operates from the standard light swith and is protected by the original headlight fuses.

so the fog lights act as a low beam with the kit, and the ones I thought were the main the highs?

Yes, the oval ones are the "low beams". Round ones are the high beams. If you had fog lights in your kit (I did too) do realize that they are not legal for street usage as they do not project an approved low beam pattern. You can be ticketed for those. You can buy dedicated and approved low beams but, since I never drive my car at night, I won't bother with that.
