well if you've checked your fuse and the compressor clutch is not engauging then its prolbably your relay since thats whats messed up on mine... that why I asked for the # . But since mines not even in the car and my clutch doesn't engage I would figure your in the same boat, so go to orileys and pick up a new one... I think its only a couple of bucks.
Good luck,

Thanks..I am trying to charge the system. The a/c did not work when I purchased the car three months ago. I want to see if it will cool and if so if it will hold. The fuse is ok.

You might want to convert it if you already havn't. you need 2 90 deg. adapters. blue one is 1/4" and the red is 3/16" i believe. and one of the kits you can get at the autoparts store. you might want to change your o-rings in your engine bay. the 2 that go to the condensor. the two that go the the dryer and if you want the two that go to the compressor (you have to disconnect the power steering pump and scoot it over to do this one).
Good luck

Thanks....but I bought a new relay (only $18 at Ford Parts...Mazda Parts wanted $28 for the same part..WTF). I put it in and.....nothing! The compressor won't come on to pull in the freon. I don't know how to check the compressor. Can I jump a 12v to it?
