A/C electrical plug
I pulled out my A/C compressor the other day, and found a plug that wasn't attached to anything. It's a two pin (I think) plug right on the top of the compressor. Is this supposed to be plugged into anything, or is it a diagnosis plug?
Sorry, I don't have any pictures right now. I can probably take one on thursday, if you guys need.

Is this plug attached to the car's harness or the compressor/clutch assembly? If it came off with the compressor and is not part of the car harness then it sounds like it is the plug for the compressor overheat switch in the top middle of the compressor.

Yeah, if you down at the compressor, while it's in the car, it's bolted to the top of the compressor right in the middle. Is it supposed to be connected to the harness? I can't find any plugs in that area that would fit it.

The overheat switch is wired in series with the compressor clutch...so the wires for it should be right there attached to the clutch. Post a picture of what you've got if you need more help.

Did A/C come standard on RX-7's? I have an R1, I think, and I can't seem to find the plug coming from the wiring harness. It doesn't look like I have any plugs exiting the harness that are anywhere near the compressor. Does anybody have a picture of the plug?
