Question A/C compressor engaging sparaticly wtf?

Its kicking on in about 1-2 second intervals before disingaging. Is this normal...? I just got my A/C running for the first time in a year. The dealer did the ol' replace it till it works thing and well that didn't help because they forgot to look at the condenser. Well now that its going again I want it running right. I'm going to be bypassing my pfc tonight before dark since I have to drive 6-7 hours tomorrow in the Texas sun.
thanks,
Ryker

Classic symptom of low refrigerant(Freon or R134).

Or too much refrigerant. I put the R134 in mine recently and had a little more than is supposed to be in it. The clutch just kept cycling on and off every second or so.
