A/C Compressor bearing

OK, got the car in for its first inspection today...MD licks my ****** sack! They charge you $60 to go through it, and they always find a bunch of crap...hence it is very simple for them to keep charging the money to get you through the process at least twice.

Anyhow, I have noticed that my belt for the PW steering and A/C frays on the one side, but it isn't getting any worse so I have left it. Well, that was one of the things that caused it to fail inspection today. The inspector said I need a new belt (obviously) and a new A/C compressor bearing. Question now, is this a part I just go to the Mazda parts dealer and order and what $$ am I looking at? Also, how difficult is this for a novice to fix?

Other thing needed for the inspection..
Battery tray hold down, anyone have one? can this be ordered as well?

There were a couple other gay things to like the tinted blue headlights that came with the car, the brake line was twisted from putting the caliper on wrong when the last person did the pads (of course the inspector couldn't take 10 minutes to take it off and twist it the right way), windshield wipers need to be replaced, the list continues. See, a bunch of pain in the *** stuff
