i want to take out the ac
dont really know where to start

Start at the compressor under the power steering. Its held on by 4 bolts and IIRC 2 lines. Refrigerant is extremely dangerous so be careful not to breathe anything in. You can follow the lines to take out the rest of the system its relatively easy.
