its got 140xxx miles, thats why its 9500. the more miles the more problems might come up. youll probably be needing a new engine if the car is stock at around 140xxx.

Exactly. I would expect it has about 140000 problems in fact.

But that doesn't mean it's a bad car - just that you should be aware maintenance needs done and little things can/will go wrong. If it has a rebuilt engine, get the documentation that shows what exactly got changed and when. Plus a thorough inspection by someone with FD experience to help catch any other bugs. Naturally, a compression test, too.

As said above, get it checked out, just because its a couple thousand less doesn't mean you won't end up spending more to get it right, there could be a ton of things in need of replacement with that many miles, so, overrall, it might be smarter to spend more $ in the first place and less shortly thereafter. What a load. For all you know, it has had tons of work on it, and is in great shape. It is doubtful that it is the first engine.

You won't know until you see it, and you need to find a local 7 owner/mechanic to check it out. And you need to take it to a dealer and get a compression test, and you need to check the boost pattern.
