buying a 3rd gen rx7 and.........
ok this guy is known for lying. he says its street ported,jun flywheel and act clutch. i know that if its street ported it idles really loud.
so the question is; is there a way i can find out if he really has a jun flywheel with out taking the tranny out?? thanks guys

I'm not sure about that. Open up the sight glass in the tranny housing and look at the wheel. You may need a flashlight but you should be able to see part of it. If it's their lightweight aluminum wheel, it should be pretty easy to spot. Or if you're familiar with FD's you should be able to blip the throttle and know if the flywheel is lighter than stock. And just because it idles loudly does not mean it has been ported.

shiet man im focked then. ummmmm where is the sight glass that u are talking about?
i heard that if the rpms shoot up then u know that the flywheel has been lightened.
what i was saying about the car idling louder is the motor actually growling (more throatly type thing) is that true?
