I have no idea how this ended up in here. This is suppose to be in another thread! Does the forum have a drinking problem???

Thats a lot of money for a car with salvage title. While theft recovery is much better than high speed accident, it still makes the car worth a whole lot less.

Depending on what your goals are, I do know of a roller here in Tempe that is probably more like $3k or $4k. It's an automatic, no motor, motego but paint is rough. Interior is complete but also in rough shape. Has some fire damage under the hood but lots of that will be changed with a V8 swap.

the only thing im thinking is when you add all the wheels and tires and suspension and body work into one of those rollers it equals pretty close to what it will cost for this once i sell all the rotary stuff i wont need. and the fact that i can drive the car around while i order in all the parts.

not worth it IMO if you're going to do a swap.

plenty of nice rollers can be had for $4-6k.

ok, but like i said before, you can buy an almost running v8 for around the same or less then what your paying for a salvage car. most of the people give up when they can wire the car up when in reality its only 10-15 wire connections that are needed. its up to you, its a good looking car, but with a salvage title, if you ever wreck it or try to sell it you will not get near what its worth
