Busted or "on and off" jammed side seal.

So, swapped a JDM engine, turns out it has either a busted side seal or it jams and unjams...Car vacuums at 19 then 15 then comes back to 19, and when the car gets at OT its at 19 vacuum 99% of the time. And when we boost, 1 out of 2 times it boosts in the oil pan and all the oil spills out the everywhere. Did 2 steam cleans and the car is better than it was but its been 1000km and the problem still persists.

What I want to know is if I make a system where the boost goes in the oil pan but retains the oil up top when on boost, will the bearings hold since boost goes through the eccentric shaft?

Thanks.

Spec.

why don't you just rebuild the engine before more becomes damaged?

vacuum has alot to do with rpm too whats the reference rpm for the two vacs? 15in is just fine i have that on stock port higher with a bit more idle rpm's up to like 18. if you want to know if its a side seal or not get a real comp test done and if one side is especially low its probably that.only one face though 2 would mean blown but you wouldnt have that vac if it was blown it would oscilate.

have you ever done a comp test

What happens when you are idling and you take the oil filler cap off? A broken sideseal, or blowby around the sideseals because of a sticking seal or too much clearance at the side seals to corner seals will result in puffing (pressure) out of the oil filler tube. My engine had two broken side seals and I could see a puff every time that particular third of the rotor fired. Replaced the broken side seals, set the clearances to .003 and no more pressure at the oil filler tube.

Not really an answer to your question, but it might give you more information on what is going on in your engine.
