burping radiator?

We just put in a new radiator... getting ready to fill it. I know you have to burp it... but where are the valves? Are they the little allen nuts on the filler neck?

Thanks
Chuck

It should burp itself if you still have the Air Seperator Tank (AST). Just fill. start, add, start, add as needed.

I like to take of the hose at the trottle body near the TPS sensor. It is the highest point in the system. seems to fill faster and with less "burping " required.

Fill the AST. Do a search. Cap the AST. Do a search. Remove the coolant line next to the throttle body. Do a search. Fill the coolant at the neck filler until coolant starts to come out the hose at the throttle body. Do a search. Put the hose back on..............do a search. Fill the neck filler and overflow tank..............D.A.S.

Run the car until warm and check after it cools.

And DON'T pull those allen plugs. They leak after you do and need high temp thread sealant! Follow adamc. Obey adamc. Kneel before adamc and... oops!
