Burnout 3.5in exhaust system by Border installed with video!

Car is currently running a T66 @18psi. Was dyno'd and tuned by steve kan ~415whp @ 20psi.

Originally I was running a Borla resonated midpipe and the racing beat dual catback which was an amazing combo....and to be honest, it was TOO QUIET! I was looking for something that I could net a bit more power with yet I didn't want to get completely obnoxious with the sound. Without there being much info on the internet, let alone any sound or video clips, I decided to pull the trigger on a full 3.5 inch stainless steel exhaust system for a forum member.

I am shocked at how good this thing sounds...I don't know if I've ever heard an FD in real life with this kind of tone (very deep but not ear bleeding) but then again I might be bias! There is a resonator in the mid-pipe section and the quality and fit on this exhaust in absolute top quality.

Anyways enough of the ramblings and on to the pics and video.

That sounds pretty loud to me! Haha. But my crappy laptop speakers also dont make it sound very deep.

when the wastegate opens the car is loud as hell and the pitch is your high scream typical of a rotary. When trying to decide on a exhaust I was more concerned on how the car was going to sound at idle and cruise and wanted to have something deeper but not overly obnoxious like a N1 dual and yet be very high flow where the bigger piping helps out over the RB dual tip I had been running.

after reading the OP again I can see that I didn't really clarify that my description of the sound which was in regards to the idle and part throttle cruise

I actually forgot to do that, however, I can easily figure it out...I'll post up when I do.

Just from memory I want to say that the new system is lighter than what I pulled off. The RB Dual tip is fairly heavy compared to most every other catback I'd say.

we need to get together and make a video of all our exhaust for comparison. i think it would be helpful for future buyers. maybe get a last good cruise in?

It would be nice if there was a stickied thread for exhaust clips where you post you exhaust clip and give a brief idea of your setup ie dp,mp porting ect

Which BOV is that? Sounds cool. Ever consider plumbing the WG back in to the exhaust?
