Angry bugger!! who knows P/S pump pulleys!! EMERGENCY!!

well the newbie rebuild has hit a snag!
my power steering pulley pump nut is WAY overtightened.

so over tight in fact that it split the pulley... then using vice grips we stripped the pulley of all grip... now we don't know what the hell to do other than drill it out!

any ideas? we can't get any grip on the pully and it just turns... the end goal is to get the engine out for rebuild, this obviously complicates things though!

ideas? ideas? ideas!?

You can pull the motor with the pump intact.. Otherwise an impact wrench should get it off...

sweet, but does that mean i'd need to bring out the A/C pump too (and decompress the A/C)??
