Broken senor?

So I am going through my engine today and I noticed a senor plug laying on the bottom of the floor. I inspect the engine to try to figure out where this came from and I noticed it is on the water pump housing.

Anyone know where or what I can do to fix this? Here is a picture I took from my phone.

That is the ECU's water temp sender. Might want to just find a good used one, they rarely fail and are a dime a dozen. You will definitely need it, though!

I have a bunch of good extras if you need one. The black sensor is the fan thermo switch.
