Broken guage cluster panel and guage hood
Back in the fall I removed the dash panel pieces to paint them to fix the flaking on my 93'. Well, being the cheap plastic that it is, the clips that are on the backside of the hood that snap into the dash were basically broken from pulling it out. Also some of the places where the hood screws into the guage cluster panel broke when repositioning and snapping everything back in.
So now since there are a few broken pieces which arent holding things securely, there is a constant rattle and squeeking noises while driving on bumpy roads. I can't stand it any longer. I'm debating whether to take everything back out and tediously try and fix it and risk breaking it more, or....
I called the local mazda dealer i'm familiar with and the parts guy i know says the guage cluster panel and guage hood sells as one piece for $400+, he can get me a new one though for $320. Anyone think thats worth it?

I've seen in the for sale section about dash stuff, but it would still be coming off of a 10+ year old car. I was just wondering if it would be better just to buy new plastic pieces for the ones that are broken, since they would have a lesser chance of breaking than used ones. I'd hate to buy a used piece and then try to install it and then it brakes the same as mine.
