Brand new ACT flywheel has hole drilled in it????

As i unwrapped my brand new ACT streetlite, i noticed that it seems to have a hole partially drilled into it. any idea what this is from, and if it is going to cause any vibration problems?

Looks like a balancing thing to me. they removed a little mass from the heavy side instead of adding mass to the light side. gives you an idea as to how well balanced the flywheel was from the start. if it needs little to no mass removed, then you are better off.

Do you know what the weight is on this streetlite flywheel?

although, if that was the only amount of mass removed, I would be very happy that the flywheel was that close to balanced from the get go.

i weighed my streetlite and it was just over 11lbs and the counterweight was a little over 3lbs so in total it weighs about 15lbs.
