I have a first gen car, and I'm considering upgrading the brakes with third gen parts.

1) Are all stock third gen brake systems the same?

2) Do the front calipers have staggered bore sizes?

3) What are the rotor dimensions (diameter & thickness)?

4) Any calipers & rotors for sale? -- How much $?

 

I think but im not sure.

the 3rd and 2nd gens can be swaped, but the first gen are diff sizes.

You should find out everything you want to know (and more), except perhaps for how to actually adapt the 3rd gen parts to a FB.
