Brake Proportioning Valve

Looking for some info on alternatives to replace the seized up prop valve on my car if I can't free it up.

The FD P/N (FD04-43-9Z0) is no longer available from mazda. But I did find this info on a spec miata forum:

Well I looked up this stuff the other day when I was looking at Master Cylinders and prop valves. Heres what they have on Mazdamotorsports. I have no clue what the differences are.

Notice how the '94 ABS shares the same FD P/N so I'm wondering if say a '95 miata prop valve would work? Anyone have any input?
Thanks

So, I pulled the ABS off of my '94 Touring. If you want to send me a picture of exactly the part you need I could just kick you my old one (it was functioning correctly when I removed it) for a fraction of the asking price..

Or you could hit up Fritz Flynn on the forums, he literally has a barn full of spare OEM parts. I'm sure he's got one bouncing around as well.

It's the cast piece bolted to the front of the ABS pump. Has the 2 hardlines going in top and 2 out the bottom.

Yup, I'm pretty sure I've got that floating around in my garage somewhere, I'll have to take a look over the weekend.

I'll also have a look at my Miata(s) to see if their prop valve appears the same (just in case I can't find the FD one). Just keep in mind that the first gen (NA) Miatas didn't come with ABS, though I'm not sure if that would have any effect on the prop valve in and of itself...

FWIW, I just replaced it with a new one. (Mine was corroded and started to leak.)
Keep an eye on that one.
I found mine on e-bay. (was in much better shape than mine.)

Failing that, you might look into aftermarket valves.
I deleted my ABS, so it was just a matter of attaching the fittings/flares and bolting it all up.
If you still want to keep the ABS, I'm sure you could make some splicing hoses/fittings to your aftermarket valve and mount it somewhere convenient.

Try part number N06943853. Still available from Mazda and it's cheap.

they did, it was an option.

the 1993 miata uses an NA something something valve,
1994 uses the FD04
1995-1997 Miata uses the F123 valve
