Brake light on..??

Alright well I was driving yesterday evening and took a turn pretty fast and after the turn my brake light in my dash came on (the red one with the little exclamation point in it)..And ever since then the light has not gone off?I purchased the car about a month ago but this has never happened before..I was just wondering if anyone knew why this might be..

Yes, there are quite a few things it could be. However, this is the first and easiest thing to check. Did you check the fluid level yet?
