How come the brake light comes on, when I push hard on the gas pedal, especially during a launch????? I don't know if the owner before me replace it right or not, but what's going????

the fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir may be low, also be sure the switch on the parking break lever is adjusted correctly.

I'll second the above answer. I had the same thing occuring a while back due to my brake pads being pretty worn and thus the fluid level in the master cylinder was lower than it should be.

That hand brake is pretty sensitive too..... Mine was worn and under hard acceleration it would actually lift enough to turn the light on...... The fluid level is a more plausible explination though....
