BOV question..

I have a Apexi twin chamber BOV, it can adjust from soft to hard, now what I understand is if I adjust it soft and it will has the blow off sound even I just step on gas with netural, and if I adjust to hard it won't hae any sound unless I have a higher boost, now for anyone who has this BOV what is your setting? and what setting is for the best "sound" and what setting for best performance?
I heard some trust BOV will have this "chiu" sound even when the car in reverse gear...
thanks for any help~!

Not sure man....just try the setting do a run then try another setting. Thats basically the only way your gonna find the "sound" you want.

My Apexi BOV also blows when I rev in neutral. I wonder if it's supposed to do that?

Yes, any time the turbos spool, they need to release the excess pressure so, hence the BOV vents the excess. In neutral, I believe 4 PSI is the highest you can go in neutral and it will blow the rest off...

As far as the setting, just set it to your liking. Basically, the smaller the BOV hole, the quieter the sound.
