BOV question

I've got a 94 touring with a greddy type-s BOV and apex-i intake. My friend has a 2nd gen with the same BOV but his sounds completely different. He has a much louder and higher pitched sound. Could I have installed mine wrong or does it have something to do with his being single tubo and mine being twin. Is there anyway I can get mine to make that same sound.

his is probably set softer and your's is set harder....you can adjust the tension of the spring from the nut on top of it...but if you set it too loose you stand the chance of boost leak at high boost...

I put it where the stock BOV is and connected it to the other release valve so I dont have either of brown colored stock valves anymore just the greddy.

Unless you are non-seq, you need the second one (labeled CRV) installed back into the car.

Take a look at this site about how the stock sequential system works:

Thanks everyone for the help. I'm going to go and reinstall the other valve and see if that makes any difference. I think tho that when i first put it on i did have the one valve on. Well i'll try again once the weather warms up a bit. Thanks again
