I've had a boost leak for a while now, and I can't seem to find where its coming from. I let my friend (Mazda mechanic ) take a look and go for a ride, and he seems to think the BOV is failing. How likely is this? My car is now 4 and a half hours away or I would just swap it out. Thanks ahead.

 

I've heard of Blitz BOV's eventually causing problems, but I haven't heard of GReddy BOV's failing... I'm sure it's possible. Do you still have the stock BOV you can replace it to check?

 

Yeah, that's what I plan on doing next time I get home. Just thought I'd check to see if this was a possibility. Thanks
