Bouncy Head Light,..Whats the cure???
I have noticed my headlights (beams) bounce up and down as it reflects in the rear of the car i'm driving behind. This occurs when I hit small bumps and other road imperfections. I notice it more on the right passenger headlight .
Does the headlight mechanism have any way of being adjusted or tightened to prevent this bounce??. Or is there no cure/solution for the problem?

I'm going off of memory from awhile back here, so bear with me. If you look at the lights facing the car, look to the side that is on the outside of the car. There's a little bracket that has a stop bushing thing that applies pressure to the fiberglass headlight housing. If that is loose, the headlight will bounce a little. If you tighten it up so that it is snug against the housing, it should stop the bouncing. Hopefully that made a little sense.
are you sure its not because your car is bouncy? if your car bounces, you headlight will bounce as well, there is no gyroscoptic type of mechanism in the headlight which keeps it still hehe
to go along with what rx7even said, If you take off the headlight coversm there is a small screw with a lock nut on the outboard side of the headlight. that screw will allow you to tighten the headlight when it is in the raised position.

,... So I know the "bounce" is coming from a loose bracket that just needs adjustment. Thanks for your input.
