Unhappy bosst problem?? ( i think!!)

i own a 94 rx, this is my problem, i just had a new lower gasket manifold fitted, ever since i got the car back it seems not to boost properly until about 4000rpm, before it went in it worked great (apart from the lumpy idel, which is fixed now). I took the car back and the guy said he road tested it and it was boosting fine. Does anyone have any ideas about what it could be????

Sounds likely that your not getting any primary turbo. The secondaries come online at 4500rpm. Road test it yourself.

Could you describe "not boost properly" in more detail? what is you boost pattern?

Considering how much had to be pulled to replace the UIM gasket, have you done a visual inspection of the hose connections? Also check the actuator arms on the turbo assembly itself.

cheers, i think it's more a problem with the first turbo, am i correct in thinking the turbo's come in at seperate times? Only because the guy at the garage, where it was repaired said they come in together. I don't know myself but from reading about the cars i think i am right and he is wrong. i have checked for pipes that could be loose, but can't see any, could it be that when it was reassembeled something was left loose? thanks for any replies.
