Bose CD/FM problems
93 Touring with Bose CD/cassette/FM/AM unit does not lock in stereo very well regardless of antenna used. Distortion noted when the unit is trying to lock on the signal. Also, CD will not "pick up" and play CDs, it just spits them back out. Finally, when turning the unit off, a loud pop comes through the speakers. Any suggestions other than getting a new unit? Thanks!!!

I've known several people to have the Bose CD player go bad. I took mine apart and it basically ran out of grease on the shaft the lenses rides on. I put some grease back on, and it worked for a little while, but I ended up getting another unit.
The radio reception, well I've never heard of that problem before. You'r best bet will probably be either send it to be repaired or get a new radio.

Just wondered if you have gotten your Bose problem fixed. I have the same problem with the CD player. Honestly never used it but maybe an hour since I bought the car new. I was getting something like static on the FM radio and thought I would play a CD to see if was the speakers or the radio. CD would not play. Hope you have some good advice as to something to try.
