Border gauge pod install?

Any tips from anyone who has installed one of these before? Thinking about attempting the install in my FD this weekend. But if anyone has done one before and has any useful tips/info, that would sure be appreciated. Thanks.

just be carefull, because the pod itself is very weak. Take your time and you dhould have no problems.

I'm guessing you need to drill holes into the instrument panel hood to run the wires through?

there is 2 ways of running the wires. 1 is just like you said, drill the insturment panel hood(which is what i did) or 2 you can run the wires by using the existing hole on the guage pod.

Thanks Darkside. Another question, if you use the holes to run the wires through, how do you mount it? I was originally under the impression that those holes were for screws to attach it to the hood.
