boost spike question(yes i know)

sorry guys ive been searching for a couple of hours now cant seel to find a straight awnser, ive got an 20k mile fd almost stock, its got the stock main cat and after that it has a 4 inch exhaust, and a pfs intercooler with twin k&n filters, well car runs great, a little to good soo i added an apexi boost gauge to check out the boost levels, and this is how it goes(very cold night) it goes to .7 bar(10psi) till about 4500 then it goes to .9 bar(12-13ish psi) when the secondary comes in then at like 5000-5500 it automatically goes down to .6 bar(9psi) till redline, am i in danger?

any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated

On a stock ECU you're pushing your luck. An aftermarket boost controller will totally solve that problem.

Id rather see it spike and come down then to continually creep higher. With that said you are still playing with fire if you are on stock apex seals.

It's not the apex seals, it's the fueling. Give the engine the right tune, and the apex seals won't matter here.

Ofcourse, but if he was running ALS or RA Superseals I would tell him to mash the gas and not worry a bit. If he is on stock apex seals it is a ticking time bomb. Just the simple truth with what his setup is doing right now.
