Could I be missing the pill for the acuator for the boost controller of the 2nd turbo?? I beleive that may be my problem.

I had the same thing on a customer car today and found the problem to be with a check valve.
The one that connect to the black plastic pressure tank just in front of the uim. It has two nipple with vacuum lines connected. one is a short vacuum line which plugs directly underneath, the other is a longer vacuum line going to the lower intake manifold region by the y pipe connector. This is the one that had a faulty check valve and was causing the plastic pressure tank not to hold any pressure hence the same boost problem as you described.

Appreciate the response, but I ended up going non-seq. I dont regret it either, good response and I will probably get a quicker spool once I get a real boost controller.

i've been hunting down some boost problems and it seems like *not one* of the many boost problem threads ever state what the fix was...
