My car is currently down waiting for power fc I bought. My question is should I get full 10 psi in first gear. I only get 6-5psi in first gear all the way to redline. When I change gears from 1st to 2nd then I get full 12-13psi.
what could be the problem that i'm not getting full boost in first gear?

Could missing pill cause that problem. I'm reffering to the pill that controll the pre-controll
I have the manual boost controller on wastegate line.

I've read of people seeing less than full boost in first gear because you move up through the rpm too quickly.

One of my friend is having almost the same problem on his FD also....its over boosting at all gears. The reading is .95 BAR...i dont know how much is that in PSI!!

What is your boost pattern through the rpm? (Maybe in second/third gears, it will be hard to tell in first because it will go so quick)

What type of mbc are you using, ball/spring or bleeder valve? And how did you set it up? (ie: Have you bypassed the stock wastegate solenoid)

If you are missing the pill in the precontrol line, that could well be the problem. Many people use two manual boost controllers, one for the precontrol and one for the wastegate. Check out this thread for info on that. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hlight=10-8-10
