Hey, I'm a newbie to this forum. I'm sure this has been beaten to death, but can someone get me started on where to start looking to fix a boost problem? I have a bone stock '94 with low mileage (under 40K) and have always had 10/10 boost. In the past couple of weeks I seem to be only able to pull about 5 psi in first gear. The rest of the gears seem to boost normally? I thought maybe a turbo intercooler air hose leak, but wouldn't that gove me low boost across the board??

Thanks for the Link. I have checked that info already and couldn't find a problem that was doing what mine is doing. The fact that I'm getting good boost after 1st gear and only getting the 5 psi in first was not listed??

A guy I used to AutoX with had that same problem. Low boost in 1st, but good on all others. He eventually did a hose job and that fixed it for him, but no idea on what specifically it was. Could just be a tiny leak in there somewhere...
