Boost Problem

Alright well I figure one out which was me only boosting 7 psi cause i had no pills. I made the Home Depot Manual boost controller.
Ok now the rest of the problems.

Symtons
a) Begin to lose boost as I creep up the RPMs all the way to 7k where I barely have 3 psi.

b) Whenever I shift and dont hold the throttle I lose the boost then "sometimes" I hear like a sound like a puppy whimpering (maybe an actuator?) and it gives me the boost but only until I hit high RPM thus I lose it again.

I really doubt it would be a clogged-catt for symtom (a) because I have an exhaust leaks at the downpipe.
BTW this is all after the simplified seq conversion.

do you hear the sound of the puppy whimpering when you decelarate or hit around 3k RPM? If so I had the same problem until I got a midpipe and disconnected my airpump. The airpump is know to make a bit of noise when it is hurting and the airpump is needed to work so the cat isnt clogged. The way to check if it is your airpump that is making this noise is to disconnect it and see if it makes that sound anymore. To disconnect it you have to unplug it. The plug is ontop of the airpump and is actually pretty hard to miss. This will prolly be able to tell you if what I am thinking is right, worth a try....

front turbo rubber intake elbow is collapsing due to weakening. the squeal you hear is air trying to squeak thru. similar to blowing up a balloon and pulling around the inlet end while the air escapes

Alright let me add some more information.
I removed ALL Emmisions (including airpump) so that leaves it out. The front rubber elbow is fine, I checked it
and very hard. Air sqeaking by could be from a vaccuum
hose but they all showed good. Any other ideas anyone??

my elbow looked fine too but it was collapsing during boost. only 1 little spot was weak and that was enough do destroy the boost

but IM not losing boost, I got 10lbs from 3k to 5k then I lose it after that. I mean it holds boost without a problem and I still get a bad boost when shifting.

I know what it is.

You've got a small puppy lodged in the downpipe.

Sorry man, you've got to pull it.
