Boost Problem

I own a 1994 RX7 R2, only 24,000 miles. Recently lost power, boost maxes out at 5 PSI on the boost gauge at WOT. I hear some hissing during acceleration, I assume a vacuum/air leak. Would appreciate any suggestions. Does anyone know a good RX7 mechanic in the Northern NJ area (Rutherford)?

Check all your hose couplings Esp the Coupling between the y-pipe and the crossover pipe going ot the intercooler, that has a tendency to crack with age... since you can hear hissing at WOT than its most likely a bad coupling, check them all and come back if its something else.
