Question Boost Pattern

I just Installed a Pettit column mount boost gauge (It looks great). I have a 95 with only a Pettit DP and an N-Tech high flow cat. My boost pattern is 12.5-10-12.5-9 between 3500 and 6500 rpm in third gear. I know going over 12 on a stock ECU is not good (I plan on upgrading it when I get other mods) but is it normal for the boost to drop to 9 between 5500 and 6500 rpm's?

I've read that the 95's ecu limits the stock boost pattern to 10-8-9, is this all I am seeing.

Also, my vacuum reads 19 at Idle, so I think my vacuum lines are O.K.

Thanks.

Your car is perfectly fine. At 6k rpm, your wastegate is going wide open and 9 psi is all you are going to get. My 95 did the exact same thing until I got a boost controller.
