Boost off stock turbos

What is the most psi you can get off stock turbos without getting into any kind of trouble?

From the factory the turbos are 10psi.....

Any more than 15psi and you are looking for trouble.

I hope the goes without saying, but...any more than 12psi is trouble if you haven't upgraded your ECU and/or fuel system. 10-11psi for a stock ECU, if you ask me. Only with upgraded fuel/ECU, will the efficiency of the stock turbos start to tank out, which is 14-15psi.
