boost leak question

Well to make a long story short yesterday my wife and I installed some parts on the FD with some help from some friends (I am sorry I didnt get your message till almost 9pm jack). We installed her A-pillar gauges with the all important boost gauge. On the "spirited" ride home I noticed that the car was not making more than 5-6psi, vacume was holding steady at ~15in at idle and dropping to ~20in on deceleration. I have read a few FAQ's and i knew what to look for while i was in there installing the main parts (downpipe and aluminum AST). I am assuming there is a boost leak as i am never seeing 8psi therefor the waste gate is not opening allowing the secondary turbo to spool. Any thoughts on where to look post Y pipe? I have not brought the revs up on a stading car, but i would assume that i will not see much more then 0 psi.

My main question to you fine people is...... where can i find a boost leak tester. I have one for my 300zx and it is a life saver, i have yet to find one for the RX-7's. I guess Iam asking this as i would rather just buy a boost leak tester then make one.

If there is not a boost leak tester on the market does anyone have a quick write up on how to make one, or does anyone have any hints for me aside from soap and water or toilet paper.

Along with the troubleshooting steps listed here - http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-7/rx7stuff.htm, we just had this thread yesterday - https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/look-boost-leaks-arrrrgh-newb-rant-548220/. There are also countless boost leak threads to go through.
