Boost issues
So i'm having an issue with boost, let me start off by saying i have poor mans nonsequentials. Okay, with that out of the way here's the issue: I don't spool until 4000-4500rpm and even then i spool slow. I can run it to 7000 in second gear and only make 5-8lbs of boost. It started doing this a few days ago in some hot weather (80°F ish) went away and is now doing it again.
I'm going to have the car on a lift tonight what should i look for? Thanks

Keep them or go single. There's no reason beyond track duty that I can figure for reverse engineering a system that works. It makes diagnosing problems more difficult imho.

Hokay, so i thrashed it in every gear on the way home from work. performed as i expected it to. (boost was normal) I guess it doesn't like hot weather....

alright... today on my drive home i was making a pass and my check engine light flashed (thanks to the pfc warning light mod) so i lifted and checked the PFC. knock peak was 80. but i didn't hear or feel anything.
and then the boost problem returned. I boosted, ran w/o boost to 7k boosted to 7k... knock didn't go above 40.
so what can cause a faulty knock reading and simultaneously screw up boost?
