Boost Issues
Boost Issues
Ok so heres the problem i have. I was going down the highway when this problem started my car keeps over boosting i have full 3" exhaust with no restrictions intake and power fc with rp fuel pump and stock injectors. Before the power fc wouldnt let it go over 0.85Bar but now its making my car hit fuel cut becsuse the car keeps wanting to to go over 0.95bar and there sounds like there is a boost leak comming for the turbos. I think its an exhaust gasket or something related to the exhaust system letting out exhaust right at the turbos causing the to build boost like crazy. The car drives fine and everything as long as i dont go hard on the accelerator it would build that much boost. Any ideas?
You have boost creep. No boost controller can control the boost because your flow (intake & exh) have overpowered the wastegate (needs to be ported).
You are in danger of blowing your engine.
search for boost creep, WG porting, etc., for solutions.

If you have had the wastegate ported then it's unlikely you have boost creep.
That loose nipple is your problem. When those hoses disconnect, it disables the wastegate and precontrol. Get that thing reattached (maybe use some Loc-Tite Green or a little JB Weld epoxy to be sure it doesn't come loose again) and you'll be all set.
