Boost Issues

My car is starting to have issues now. When I start to drive the car a little hard, it has issues with boost. After I shift into the next gear and then accelerate, the car will not boost. The car will still accelerate, but will not boost. I get off the gas and I hear this strange "Whir" coming from the engine. I get right back on the gas and the car will boost. This doesn't happen when I shift at redline, though.

I've been told that it may be one of the pressure tanks is clogged. Could this be the problem? Otherwise, what is the culprit? Lastly, would going non-seq solve this or make it worse?

One more thing, my car doesn't boost the first turbo in 1st gear. What is the problem?

Thanx in advance.

more then likely if you let off the gas and let it vac. and then Wot it and boost came back, it could be the vac line that is connected to the pressure chamber, prob. came off. Unscrew the pressure chamber and looked at all the vac lines to see if anything came off.

Or just upgrade to Silicon Hoses, and get 99 Spec Turbos.

These stock sequential turbos are always such a pain and will always have issues.
