boost issue??????

ok, just installed my fuel system, so im now able to get on my car. but the only thing is that my primary turbo only spools to like 7-8 psi then the 2nd turbo comes online and shoots up to 13 like how i have the boost controller set to. any reason why the primary turbo is only spooling to 7-8 psi? thanks.

oh also, im using a greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller

i would say yes, due to the fact it was hooked up the same way it was prior to blowing my old motor. The primary turbo doesnt spool up all the way, but the secondary does. 1st turbo spools to like 7-8 psi, where the secondary spools to 12-13psi.

you blew your old motor and now you are just getting on this motor?

did apex seals happen to go thru this set of twins? if so, I believe you have turbine wheel damage.

old motor blew due to coolant seal failure. over heated and cooked the motor. Ive broken this motor in for about 1600-1700 miles already, upgraded my fuel system so at full boost my afr is 10.8-11.1 . Its just now the primary turbo is not spooling correctly. and it looked as though there was no damage to the turbos.

interesting...what controls your precontrol?

(I take it you've been thru the engine bay for boost leaks?)
