boost / idle problems - vac leak?
my idle jumps from 1000 rpm to 1200 rpm when idling in neutral....is this normal or what?
as some of you may have read and helped, ive been having boost controller issues....
ive got the boost up now.....
but sometimes, when you go into 2nd hard out of 1st, you get no boost
only does it sometimes.....
any ideas/

You shouldn't have that high of an idle. Normally, with all loads off (no lights, wipers, AC, etc.) you should be at about 700-800 RPM at idle, and it should be nice and smooth.
If you have a vacuum leak after the throttle body, the idle will come up some. These leaks can be VERY tricky to track down, as it can be ANY escaping air - from a bad gasket, a blown-off vacuum line, etc.

Zer0 Cylinder,
Is your boost fine in all your other gears? If so, it's most likely a problem with the Turbo Control Solenoid(s) or Actuator.
