boost controllers? how do they work on the SEQ. setup
i was wonderign how the aftermarket boost controllers control the boost and the prespool of the secondary turbine. do they have 2 valves that do the job or do u have to switch to the non seq setup. please enlighten me

according to the instructions for the Apexi AVC-R, one solenoid controls the prespool and wastegate operation. then you just adjust duty cycle at 4500rpm to reduce boost spike.
I hooked mine up to just the wastegate and use a home depot valve to fine tune the prespool. IMO it works better this way and is easier to tune.

i think the avc-r 1st gen you can mess with the boost curve, so that the spike can be taken out of the curve. Or you can induce a little spike to help turbo spool up a little faster...
