Boost controller gone bad??
Does anyone know how to bypass a HKS EVC EZ boost controller? I am having boost problems and I am beginning to wonder if it's my controller. I only build 7-5-7 regardless of how high I set the controller, and it doesn't matter if I turn it off. This just started this weekend, and prior I was running 12-10-12 for the past month.
I already checked the typical things. I have 2 month old silicon hoses and a greddy FMIC with couplers so I know it's not either of those.
It's almost acting like my contoller isn't working. Any ideas on how to bypass or further test the HKS EVC EZ?
Thanks.

Well I took off all my FMIC couplers and the Y-pipe coupler and put them back on to make sure they were seated right and tight. Also rerouted the hoses from the HKS EVC to the turbo to make sure they weren't getting pinched. Then I took it for a drive.
The problem persists. Still 7-5-7, however, around 6-7k RPM I am building 10-11 psi. I am thinking that may rule out my HKS being bad. Any input?

Since I was able to build past 7psi at higher RPM I was sort of ruling that out. Tonight I will try to bypass the HKS. Since 2 lines go into my boost controller, if I bypass it by hooking where those lines go, I should see some different results.
The other thing I was thinking it may be is the wastegate. Anyone have a picture of the stock wastegate? I will crawl under there tonight and see if it's stuck open, but need something to compare it to. Thanks.
