Bolts instead of Studs?

Can I use bolts instead of studs when bolting the turbo's back on?

I have a couple in mine since swapping motors, no problems.

I had about 4 turbo studs twist and break when I was tearing the motor down. I painstakingly drilled them out and retapped the holes in the exhaust manifold. I could not locate the proper studs that afternoon so I used garde 8 bolts in a few places. Should be just fine.

Make sure you use anti-seize on all of the bolts, sutds and nuts....and use a torque wrench.

gotcha, is that the reason they used studs was because they would seize up? And a stud kind of gives you a second chance if the nut is stuck on...
