Body Panel Material?
Hello everyone, I am new here and this is my first post.
My question is...What are each of the body panels on the FD RX7's constructed of? I'm hoping to hear mainly fiberglass and plastic, and not too much metal...obviously because metal rusts.
Point of the question is I have been looking up RX7's in the trader, and I'm wondering how problematic the body's might be. The only body panels on my car that are metal are the rear quater panels and the rocker, and I find this nice, since all I have to worry about are them.

Front/rear bumper covers are plastic. Hood is aluminum. Everything else is thin steel.
These cars aren't known for being rustbuckets, but then again most of us never drive on a salted winter road. For many reasons I don't recommend driving this car in winter. It can be done with winter tires, but IMHO my FD can rest while the daily beater eats it.
