Thumbs up body kit question

when you buy a name brand body kit like re-amemiya from vivid racing or rotary extreme, do they fit on without any modifying? also what do you guys think of the ad 9 kit (bumper, hood, side skirts)

It depends does the kits from vivid or rotary extreme say replica in the description? If so then this means they are not the original products from the original mold. And after 1 replica is made and a replica is made off of that piece the dimensions begin to become more and more incorrect compared to the original. But w/ some of the fd companies they are a very reliable source for parts and can offer parts as good as the original. So your best off contacting these companies and asking and will probobably hear some modification will be necassary.

In terms of bodykits, you get what you pay for. A kit purchased from Ebay for $170 will have a better chance of fitting a Civic than your FD. Most name brands have superb fitment, with minimal modifications. Replicas from places like Pettit Racing, and Rotary Extreme, will probibly fit just as good. If you are going to get a body kit, do it from a reputable company, you pay a little more but you wont have to pay a body shop several hundered $$$ to get a cheep kit to fit.

ANY and ALL aftermarket body pieces will require some work to achieve proper fitment. Better quality pieces will be made of better materials and will likely have less fitment issues.

The stock parts fit really well, and they look better than any goofy body kit.
